UTD Grad!

I really love photographing seniors. It’s just such a great time – of opportunity and eagerness and accomplishment. This was the first time I was invited to photograph someone at University of Texas at Dallas. It’s a really beautiful campus. Imagine walking around those sidewalks for four years, and to have your time there cut short by a few months. Some of the most important months. These seniors are bright though. In more ways than one. They are steady and anxious to lead us into the future.

It was a pleasure meeting Alex and hearing some of his story. Wishing you all the best in all of your endeavors in the future!

Seniors 2020?!?!

In this time of uncertainty, you guys have really stepped up. I cannot believe what this world has thrown at you. COVID19 has forever made its mark on your lives. All the milestones of your senior year were all but erased. Yet you rose up with pride and hard work and determination. And here you are… graduates! Ready to take on ANYTHING that comes your way. It can only get better from here, right?

Congrats to one of my favorites. Gracie, OU is lucky to have you!

Welcome home!

Trying to catch up on my blog posts here… can’t believe it’s been so long. Wow! What a crazy time this has been. I thought seeing some newborn cuteness would help.

It was so fun meeting this sweet new family in their brand new Dallas home. Having recently moved from Chicago, I was amazed at how put together their home was! Complete with a brand new baby boy.

The Latest…

Wow, it’s been a while! My busy season came & went & I’m still here! It was such a nice Christmas break. I wasn’t really ready for it to end. Although, my kids were ready for a set schedule again. It was so nice seeing so many beautiful families over the holidays and getting to document their photos again. It’s seriously so much fun for me. I appreciate all of you and hope to serve more of you in the upcoming year!

Happy 2020!!

Here are a few of my favorites from this Christmas season. xo

Just You

When a friend refers me to someone new, it makes my day! Especially when it’s for a senior session. I had so much fun with Kate and her mom, Audrey. We walked all over Bishop Arts and made our way to a mural Kate had found online. It was the perfect backdrop to capture who she is. She’ll be a senior at Greenhill next year and hopes to go to UT for video production in the future. I love photographing seniors as they are. No need for fake smiles and coached poses. This girl was a dream in front of the camera! I had a hard time narrowing down images for this post. I could have included 50 more! If you want a senior session that is all about who you are… please use the contact form to get in touch. Let’s have some fun.
