How do I book a session?
Just click the contact link above & fill out the form! You can also email me directly at lisa@myheartinprint.com. Once you’ve seen my portfolio and decided that you’d like to have me as your photographer, I will send you a Paypal invoice for the session fee ($200). Once that invoice is paid, your session date is reserved. All digital and print collections start at $395 (and include the session fee). I’m happy to email you more detailed information on my packages. My goal is to create art with you that you will want to display for everyone to see. (Hence the name, My Heart In PRINT!)
Where will our session be held?
Once your session is booked we will discuss your desired location and any ideas you have for your session. I am an on-location, natural light photographer. Your session will be either at your home or at an agreed upon location. Please let me know if you have any ideas regarding location and I can definitely make recommendations. We are lucky to live in Dallas & have many different options for any type of session you’re wanting! Of course newborn sessions are done in the comfort of your own home. Portrait sessions typically last up to an hour. Newborn sessions can last a little longer, depending on how many breaks we need to take for the comfort of the baby.
What should we wear?
Coordinating vs. matching. Try to stay away from wearing the same colored shirts or same khaki pants. I like to choose 2 or 3 main colors with maybe another pop of color. Mixing patterns is ok if you stay in the same color family. If your session is outdoors, it is best to stay away from too much green. For newborn sessions simple is best. Pale colors are great for mom & dad, so the focus is on the baby. It’s important to be comfortable! I don’t want you worrying about adjusting your new dress or wanting to take off your heels during our session. The same goes for the kiddos! I love putting together cute shorts and t-shirt outfits for boys… or a simple sundress for your daughter. Maxi dresses are great for moms. I like to start with MY outfit & plan the others around mine. If I feel good about how I look, I know the session will go well. Most of the time you already have what you need right in your closets! What if it rains?
We do live in Texas! Which means we can’t predict the weather. In the event that we have rain or someone gets sick last minute, your session fee is good for up to six months. We will reschedule as soon as possible.
When will I get my photos?
Your edited gallery of 30-40 images is typically delivered via your private online link within two weeks of your session, but no more than four. Payment for your print/digital package is due at time of purchase.
