Greenhill Senior : Jake

Referrals are the biggest form of flattery! (That’s what they say, right?)

My friend, Robyn, has a daughter at Greenhill. She referred her friend’s son, Jake, to me for senior photos. Jake will be a senior at Greenhill this year. His family recently moved from Singapore back to TX. We had a laid back session at the Winspear. I love capturing what these seniors are like at this time in their lives. Senior sessions are all about you. I want you to look back at these and remember specific times of your life. Specific things you liked to do. Specific people.

It’s a big time. Let’s remember it.

New Family Member

Baby Elliot made his appearance into the world early July. He was so sweet and peaceful. His grandmother was there with a necklace she bought when she found out her daughter was pregnant. It’s full of prayers she lifted up during those nine months. What a special memento. Coming into the home of a new family right after a birth is such a sacred privilege. I never take it lightly.

Baby Kate

Well, I’ve known her since she was born… but she’s not a baby anymore! Kate is going to be a senior at Greenhill this year, and watch out world.

She is smart and athletic and beautiful and personable and amazing. There is no limit to what this girl might do.

I can’t wait to see.

My high school friend, Chantel, hrrrmmm – Dr. Carlson – is a professor at TCU. She is an author and poet and all around good friend.

And – my parents. They just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary. What a blessing they have been and still are. We had so much fun celebrating with family and friends. This is one of the things I absolutely love about photography. I will treasure these photos forever.

 

Sister Sunshine

These lovely ladies wanted a special gift for their daddy for Father’s Day. What a great idea! I think he will treasure these photos for a long time. My Sweet & Simple session is basically a mini-session. So if you’re ever in need of a gift for someone… mom, dad, grands… let’s schedule a quick summer session!
